The Global Tech Summit was held in Tianjin Ziya Economic and Technological Development Zone in Jinghai district, Tianjin, from Aug 21 to 22.

The event gathered 200 representatives from government, enterprises, universities, research institutes, and investment institutions, focusing on empowering the real economy with innovation and facilitating deep industrial project implementation.

The two-day event adopted a segmented model comprising government-enterprise meetings, site visits, and a public main conference. During the session, participants toured the supporting facilities of the Tianjin Base of Global Technology and Innovation Alliance and held talks on industrial policies, enterprise needs, and long-term cooperation.

The following day included visits to key industrial parks and benchmark enterprises, followed by the main conference where the Tianjin Base was officially put into operation. The Tianjin regional project call for the Forbes China competition was also launched.

Several key cooperation agreements were signed, including a concept verification center and an AI permanent-magnet motor shared manufacturing plant project.

The alliance operates a proprietary AI big-data system containing 380 million corporate data entries across over 100,000 dimensions, which can shorten technology sourcing cycles from six to 12 months to just three to five days.

The base will provide long-term support in supply-demand matching, capital services, and overseas market expansion.

Shang Xia, general manager of Tianjin Ziya Economic and Technological Development Zone High-Tech Industrial Park Development, pledged full support for the base's operations and to leverage global resources to drive regional innovation.
