The Tianjin Ziya Economic and Technological Development Area in Jinghai district is advancing circular economy and green industry cooperation under the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Green Industry Development Cooperation Zone and its national-level development zone platform.
Over the past year, the cooperation zone has promoted the China-Uzbekistan "two countries, two parks" model, green energy exchanges with Kyrgyzstan, and regular operations of a friendly park with Pakistan.
In August, a joint trade delegation visited Uzbekistan for industrial matchmaking. The two sides identified key directions such as the cross-border return of renewable resources, deep processing of green industries, new energy projects, cross-border trade, and capacity coordination.
In the same month, a Ziya delegation visited Kazakhstan, signed a memorandum with Akmola National Industrial Park, and established a friendly-park relationship, marking Ziya's fourth overseas sister-park relationship.
A Kyrgyz delegation visited Ziya in May to inspect water-saving equipment, the SCO logistics hub, and the park exhibition hall, boosting trust in green energy and cooperation in modern agriculture.
The Ziya Economic and Technological Development Area will continue to share its experience in developing a circular economy while promoting technological exchanges, business visits, and project implementation with SCO partners.
