Kimou (Tianjin) Surface Treatment Recycling Eco-Industrial Park is located at the Aviation Industry Park of Zhongwang town, Jinghai district. It belongs to the national-level Ziya Economic and Technological Development Zone. The park undertakes the industrial structure adjustment and environmental protection enterprise transfer of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region in accordance with the overall deployment of the 12th Five-Year Plan of China. As the only centralized processing area for metal surface treatment in Tianjin region, it is an important support point for connecting the international high-end functional core development axis of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.
The park is 51% controlled by Kimou Environmental Holding Co., Ltd. and was established by increased capital investment in September 2015. It started operating in 2016, covering an area of approximately 980,000 square meters, with total assets of about 1.1 billion yuan. The planned processing capacity of electroplating wastewater is 20,000 tons/day, and currently, a wastewater treatment facility with a capacity of 6,000 tons/day has been built. The civil engineering of the third-phase physical and chemical treatment system with a capacity of 16,000 tons/day was completed in August 2019. There are 51 standard factory buildings, including eight customized ones, in the park.
The park radiates Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and surrounding areas, with over 100 settled enterprises involved in plating processes such as galvanizing, nickel plating, chromium plating, silver plating, and anodic oxidation, serving industries and fields such as military, aerospace, aviation, high-speed rail, automobile, electronics, and hardware.
According to the local climate conditions, the park innovatively uses the underground comprehensive pipe gallery in the industry. The planned construction length of the pipe gallery is 12.5 kilometers, and 5.8 kilometers have been built. Various pipeline network systems are uniformly laid out and centrally managed in the pipe gallery, including electroplating wastewater collection pipeline network system, fire pipeline network system, water supply (tap water, recycled water, purified water) system, domestic sewage system, and strong and weak electricity system.
Relying on the mature experience of Kimou Environmental Group in the construction, operation, and management of electroplating parks, the park adopts a unified planning, construction, and operation management mode. It operates the management mode of centralized wastewater treatment, centralized gas monitoring, and centralized residue control for electroplating enterprises, committed to building a green, environmentally friendly, energy-saving and emission-reducing, circular economy, and sustainable development surface treatment industrial park.
