In recent years, Jinghai district has focused on developing its local health industry and has set the goals of building itself into an advanced manufacturing innovation base, a health industry cluster, a happy retirement and wellness destination, a sports and fitness hub, and a leisure tourism destination.
The cooperative demonstration zone has now attracted high-quality universities and medical health projects, as well as a number of national-level laboratories and key research and development platforms, providing a good foundation for the development of its medical and health industry. This competition is expected to attract more high-quality projects to settle in Jinghai, injecting new momentum and vitality into local development.

The Tianjin University "Haitang Cup" Alumni Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has been held for five consecutive years, attracting 754 projects from various fields, including biomedicine, intelligent manufacturing, artificial intelligence, new materials, and new energy. This year, the nationwide industry competition was set up to unite alumni resources, providing comprehensive, multi-dimensional, and systematic support for the innovation and entrepreneurship of Tianjin University alumni.
