Tourism market gears up during Spring Festival holiday

During the Spring Festival holiday, Tianjin's Jinghai district, with its over 50 cultural and tourism events, received 407,200 visitors and achieved a tourism income of 266.8 million yuan ($37.09 million).

This year, relying on its abundant commercial resources, Jinghai has promoted characteristic products from Xizang (Tibet), Gansu, Beijing, Hebei, Shandong, and other regions, stimulating local consumption vitality.

A lantern exhibition in Jinghai

In addition, Jinghai has also integrated rich cultural resources into the promotion of its tourism routes, organizing a series of events including exhibitions, the sale of intangible cultural heritage products and time-honored brands, as well as cultural performances.

Duliu town, Jinghai district, conducted a lantern exhibition, seeing a total of 21,600 visitors.

Meanwhile, over 60 teams participated in folk performances, showcasing the unique local traditional culture.
