Tianjin municipality has named ten local industrial heritage enterprises, and Tianli Duliu Vinegar Co., Ltd. in Jinghai district has made the list.
Industrial heritage is an important carrier of industrial civilization, with rich cultural connotations. It records the difficult beginnings and numerous achievements of modern industry in China, carrying forward the enduring spirit of craftsmanship and national spirit.
Tianli's unique traditional vinegar-making craftsmanship and its long history and distinctive taste are famous in China. In recent years, Tianli has not only enhanced its key technological processes to bring out new flavors in each vat of aged vinegar but also optimized its governance structure, improved incentive mechanisms and innovated its operational models, allowing the centuries-old Chinese time-honored brand to become increasingly precious through continuous inheritance and innovation.
"The company has not only established a vinegar museum covering more than 120 square meters to preserve endangered traditional vinegar-making artifacts and textual materials, but has also created clay models depicting the traditional brewing techniques of Duliu vinegar, ensuring the preservation and dissemination of some endangered traditional vinegar-making artifacts and textual materials," said Zhang Rongzhan, deputy general manager of the company.
