The 90MW wind power project in Jinghai, Tianjin, was successfully connected to the grid for the first time on April 29, and it recently achieved full capacity grid connection.
The project located in the towns of Yanzhuang and Chenguantun in Jinghai district covers an area of approximately 16.2 mu with a total investment of about 760 million yuan ($105.69 million). It includes the installation of two 5MW wind turbines and twelve 6.66MW wind turbines, along with a 110kV substation and a 35kV collection line.
After completion and grid connection, the project is expected to generate 212.4 million kWh of electricity annually, providing a reliable green guarantee for regional energy supply.
Compared with traditional coal-fired power plants, the project can save 64,750 tons of standard coal per year and reduce emissions of various air pollutants.
The successful grid connection of the 90MW wind power project, which is the largest single-unit capacity and tallest tower wind power project in Jinghai district, marks a solid step forward in the field of green energy for the region. This achievement not only provides clean and sustainable energy for the entire area but also injects new vitality into the regional economic development.
