Two decades of Jinghai's popcorn innovation

In the workshop of Tianjin Dongxusheng Nut Food, located in Wangkou town of Jinghai district, Tianjin, rows of specialized puffing machines operate in unison. Golden popcorn bursts forth continuously, filling the workshop with a warm, toasty aroma.

This is where Herimei, a leading brand specializing in light-style popcorn, originated. With four automated production lines and 120 puffing machines running daily, the facility produces 25,000 kilograms of light popcorn each day.

Rooted in Wangkou town's renowned nut-processing tradition, Herimei has dedicated over 20 years to the light popcorn segment. Through continuous innovation, the brand has refined its recipes to reduce oil and sugar, creating a crisp, less-sweet snack that meets modern demand for healthier indulgences.

The product lineup includes five packaging sizes to suit diverse consumption scenarios. Two decades of specialization have allowed Herimei to expand nationwide, revitalizing traditional popcorn with a healthier profile and adding a contemporary touch to Jinghai's snack industry reputation.
